This quest can be obtained from the Notice Board in Arsmith's Alehouse in Gran Soren after completing Of Merchants and Monsters. It becomes available after meeting with the Duke
To complete this quest you must buy a Promissory Note from Alon within the Abandoned Mine section of the quarry and turn it in to Arsmith.
WalkthroughEdit
It takes a few days or quests for this quest to appear and it is simple enough. After you have cleared the Ancient Quarry, Alon is in the old Abandoned Mine section which now houses a fully stocked shop. The Promissory Note will cost you 35,000G. If you have the Gold Idol (real or forgery), the Promissory Note will only cost you, 24,500G.
