Art of Metamorphosis is an item available in Dragon's Dogma.
Description[]
- "Arcane magick that can transmute one's appearance, allowing the user to edit both their Arisen and main pawn a single time."
The Art of Metamorphosis can be bought at the Rift Shop for 5,000 Rift Crystals. Speak to Johnathan, the old pawn in the yellow tunic at the back of the Command Headquarters in The Encampment.
Acquiring this item temporarily installs the Character Editor into the Main Menu of the game, allowing the appearance, name, voice, and gender of the Arisen and Main Pawn to be edited. Once both Arisen and Pawn have been edited the option will disappear.
Notes[]
- The Secret of Metamorphosis has the same function but can be used as many times as desired.
- Caution! Only one Art of Metamorphosis can be bought per play through.
- It will become available again in New Game Plus.
- Restarting by changing to Hard Mode slso causes a restock.
- Pawn and Arisen edits are performed separately in the character editor, which is accessed from the main menu. The option to edit the Arisen is first after which the player is given the option to edit their pawn as well. After both have been edited the option will disappear from the menu.
