If you would what would you want the expansion to be, a massive dungeon crawler, a new area full or city, more story too add. If you wouldn't why not if you don't mind sharing your reason. I would like at least one more even though I think there finished with DD and moving on, but ignoring reality I would like a expansion with a large city that's mysterious has its secrets or a magic Forrest not like witch wood not a depressing mood but a uplifting Forrest full of life and mystical secrets sooner or later there go.ing to add fares, they can be like the birds and rabbits. But those are my ideas let me know yours.
Also if you feel like read something long I wrote a wish list for dd2 would like to here your thoughts on it

During the game's timeline,Pablos, the innkeeper of Cassardis, he tells that the Faith is sending believers to the Grand Cathedral on the mainland to get first hand accounts of the dragon -- apparently to study it.
When speaking with Merrick, an inhabitant of Gran Soren, he tells of this place being situated on the mainland that holds many books. He states "It's the finest collection of letters in all the lands".
During conversation he tells of his journey towards the mainland and of his arrival back in Gransys where he mentions that "the people are cowering in the shadow of the wyrm". This means that he must have undertaken his journey afore the player encounters Grigori in Cassardis and become the Arisen.

The goal of this blog post is to find out what the best possible pawn vocation preferences are and for which play style. I have been trying to keep active in the chatroom asking what people prefer and it seems pretty varied without any real answers on the templates being used and why they are being used. I have read so many articles on how to create an effective pawn; yet they all have differing answers on why they make that pawn and bash another build. Thusly said, the other pawn build being bashed is later held to high regards by another user.
I would like to know what is everyone using for their pawn builds? Can you please display the vocation level training, fighting style, and equipment you are gearing your pawns toward. Also, please l…Read more >
This is something I've been wondering about for a while. For those who don't know, Dragon's Dogma Quest is an upcoming spin-off set for PlayStation Vita and iOS later this year. It's a free-to-play game that has radically different gameplay and takes place in a new land, but features many plot elements of Dragon's Dogma, such as arisen, pawns, the Dragon, some of the monsters like goblins, griffons, and cyclopses, and some returning characters like Mercedes, Julien, and Mountebank.
There are new elements that are interesting to the lore of DD and I was wondering if we should make pages on this wiki for them. There isn't a ton of information out there yet, but as we get closer to release date, I'm sure more information will be pouring throug…Read more >
This is but a simple post to let everyone know I am going to try and give my complete effort in my free time to update this wikia with every piece of knowledge I can offer. I notice a lot of newcomers on here with a lot of questions which the wikia covers in its simplest of forms. I plan on trying to create a more enriching experience for this wikia.
The first goal in my list is to update items and mobile (NPC and Enemy) information to correctly reflect what is in the game. If anyone has been keeping up with my edits; this has been getting done at least 1 - 2x a day. I have a ton to add though, so this might get boosted to 5 entries a day if at all possible.
An example of additions will include:Correct NPC statistic for the Dragon's Dogma se…

I'm ready to take up arms and enter the cruelsome Bitterblack Island, and just thought with myself I should go to cathedral and pray for my victory.I went there and started praying:"oh mighty maker, twice slayed seneshal by my former arisens and one of them yourself!!!Aid me in these hard times and tell Azrael,or Death,to get the f*ck out!He wants to take my life personally because my heart is gone and I'm immortal now.WTF is the problem with you?you sent the Dragon yourself to make me Arisen and now you send the Angel of Death to send me to oblivion?
No problem. When I killed the bastard Daimon and hopefully that a**hole Death I will come for you and get my revenge!"

Hello. My name is not Julian Casablancas. Call me John.
I am obsessed with Dragon's Dogma. I got it on the 19th June 2013 if I'm not mistaken. I have played through it 3 times. You can find basic information on my page.
I also love Batman: Arkham City. The ending crushed my heart into small little bits. Everything is perfect in that game.
As you can see from my name I am a fan of The Strokes and Julian Casablancas' solo career. I like Interpol, Nirvana, Slayer, Metallica, Rammstein, Cults and Tenacious D too.
That is enough information. If you wish to contact me do so on my Twitter @GodOfLettuce . If we end up being closer I'll give you my Skype or another social networking site I am on. Thank you and have a nice day! c:…

This is taken from my reddit post awhile back.
Did anyone chunk that ungrateful brat into Everfall?
A little background for those who don't remember Pip. He's involved in the questline; Land of Opportunity. Fournival wants you to evict the tenants from a property he owns so he can sell it for quick cash, he wants you to peacefully do it. There are a couple of ways to do this, one is to run around Gran Soren and ask them to leave or you can just buy the land from Fournival and let the family stay. In post-game Pip is standing near the giant hole in Gran Soren and reprimands you for causing the damage and inadvertently the death of his parents.
Look, I know I indirectly caused the hole in Gran Soren and your parents were just in the wrong place…

Warning "LONG-BLOG-LIKE-OPINION" Incoming : For those who hate opinions and long winded posts lol xD
Corrupted Pawns are easy to kill even a levels lower than 100. Yep there I said it lol. (BTW, when I say "they're easy to kill, that only means they drop dead at a reasonable time with the right attack regardless of vocation. Oh they will still one-shot ya, but doesn't matter if they don't hit ya xP. Doge people, dodge lol)
Oh and, Levels "DO NOT" really matter in this game (exception : stamina drain from using high leveled gear", but it's more of a handicap you can give enemies if it seems too easy lol)
Now, "Weapons", yep "Weapons", these babies matter and ofcourse the Augments that further increase them awesome weapon's damages to overcome tho…Read more >

I came across a very interesting thread on the PSN GameFAQs site. This information may be common knowledge to some, others may not agree with the findings. For many of us who are interested in extending our experience of the game beyond the Questing and Dragon hunting, this information may prove useful. With the author's permission, I am posting his work to open it up to discussion to a wider audience.
The author, HastatusAtratus, may visit this blog from time to time to see what, if anything, this community has to say about his work and, of course, any are free to visit and comment directly on the original thread Pawn 3rd Star Bestiary Knowledge: Proof of the Hidden Kill Count Requirement as long as it remains active.

So this is due to me not being engaged / interested in playing a Sorcerer because I find the current system boring, obviously the spell animation is great when the spell is activated.
OK it works like this, you hold R1 or R bumper button and press a combo of the three skill buttons (that u nominate in spell menu) say six times to pull off that spell ( no buttons can be the same as the one before it so no x,x,x,x,x,x ) and different spells can't have the same combo. Meanwhile your Sorcerer speaks latin as they incant / intone their spell. I know it's not perfect I would need to remember my spells, but the system would engage the player. Lower to higher level spells would have an increasing number of button presses to activate. Lower level sp…Read more >
Finally, the elusive third Gransys star came from gritting down and doing the From A Different Sky DLC. I never even knew that Nightcall Crevasse existed but, sure enough, seeking out Badge of Vows 41 led me hearing those words I haven't heard in a long time. "'Twill be easier going searching this area now."
It reminds me that the last time I heard the phrase was at night in the vicinity of the Healing Springs near the Catacombs. If anyone cares to share other locations that are known to trigger a star ranking, perhaps we can compile a list of hotspots to visit as we tour Gransys.
Traversing the Miasmic Haunt at night is supposed to trigger an observation about Fireflies. When I visited there and was told that the Fireflies were the reason …Read more >

For starters, I've read through a lot of other peoples' work which is from where a large portion of this information came. I have added in my own knowledge in an attempt to make this stuff more sensible to others, as I had to use some brain power before I could make sense of what the others were saying.
Before I describe anything else, it needs to be made clear that what you think is a random reward, is actually not random at all. The only part of it that's random, is from which group of weapons you're choosing.
These sets come in triplets. Meaning, each cursed Level 3 Lump-o-Junk you pick up will have three different weapons available from it, depending on which color you and your main pawn are at the time of purification. Color is determin…

I'm posting this here to show to Simmons, Tsu and a few others. Am trying to come up with a few rules for the chat. Here we go:
- Bashing a group/person based on what they like is not tolerated, nor is speaking ill of a group/person with the intentions to start a fight.
- Keep RP conservative and consensual. If you are asked to stop an RP in the main chatroom, then you are expected to stop.
- Do not bring in drama from another wiki or wiki chatroom.
- We do not tolerate users harassing other(s) in main chat or in private.
- Please do not speak of suicide in the main chat as it just stirs up drama. If you need help, ask users if you can talk in private messages in the chat room... and know that there are several resources dedicated to helping you.

Dragon's Dogma is a Open World Japenese Role Playing Game developed and published by Capcom. Many people who had worked on Resident Evil 4 and Devil May Cry 4 had helped delevelope this game. The game runs on Capcom's exclusive MT Framework engine and Audio is supported by Dolby Digital. This game has been sucessful overall, with Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen which came out in early 2013. Capcom is also releasing Dragon's Dogma Quest for the Playstation Vita, but it only releases in Japan. Don't worry, they are also working on Dragon's Dogma II.Read more >

Purely a Wiki editorial post here, but thought I might as well mention it:
Recently, I've been visiting every Weapon & Armor page, primarily to check on Enhancement Items. With a couple of exceptions, each and every 2 and 3 Star Enhancement Item for everything is now listed, and furthermore, all of that info has been transfered to the 'Enhancing' section on each individual Item page (2x for 2 Star Enhancement of... etc). Short of these 2 (and a bit) pages listed below, all of that is complete. Exceptions are:
- Red Eyeglasses - Stats are practically non-existant.
- Aneled Bardiches - Stats are practically non-existant. DONE.
- Immortal's Bracers - Just needs the number of Lava Rocks added for 2 Star Enhancement.
So if anyone has the required info on …Read more >
Author's Note: Last week was action, action, action! Which is my main strength in writing, so I thought maybe I should flex a creative muscle before it atrophied. I know you get a lot of this in fanfiction's already, but I promise things will heat up again soon.
'Twas barely dawn when the Arisen reached the Abbey; he smeared dirt on his face when he swiped at the sweat on his brow, not caring in the least. The Arisen prodded open one of the large oaken doors to the chapel with his daggers in hand, the soft glow of several white candles radiated beyond; sheathing his dirks he then crossed the threshold with his pawns at his heels. First in was his mirror-self, one conjured by the rift by his foolish declaration of being the Arisen; similar i…

Just to be striaght about it Xboxone sucks, its reveal event was so bad I wanted to kill myself for sitting through it! everything from the Kinect2.0 being always active and the mandatory installation to the NFL team system and the crappy audio commands, that puts me, and all gamers on my side, on a split road, both of which abandoning Microsoft and their Xbox.
Either switch to PS3 and climb that bandwagon, seeing the PlayStation will be offering better hardware and actual GAMES for their GAMING console, or go back to Personal Computers and use that as the next gaming medium. I personally decided to do both! It wasn't too hard to save up for a gaming PC neither was it hard to find a good deal on a PS3 on local listings :p

Author's Note: Not to be confused with the popular Dark Arisen.
The Arisen plunged through the blackness of the night daggers in hand, the forest was misted and his companions rushed heedlessly after him to no avail. This Arisen kept no lantern, despite the constant whine of his mage pawn otherwise; this Arisen ran through the black of night in search of prey and when he found it he would kill it and run off again. Following tracks by moonlight made him feel truly one with the world, not some unnatural abomination fate had created him to be.
A crow had burst out of a bush toward him on his left, he spun toward it and freed an arrow it's way but missed. Realigning his goal he ran after his arrow and found the tree it had landed in not fifty pa…

At this point of the game I think I'm done, after 212 hours and 8 minutes of entertainment this game is starting to dry out to me, I've yet to try all the classes but I'm only behind on Mystic Knight, Assassin, and Ranger.
Overall this game has been a phenomenal experience that I would recommend to any hardcore gamer out there without hesitation, now I see myself on NG+7 with a solid pawn and titanium solid Arisen I find little reason to go on playing this game.
A friend of mine will start on this game today and I may stick around to give them some support for a while but right now I'm thinking I'd stop playing DD DA and move on to a game I've been putting off for a long time; Dishonored.
