Purely a Wiki editorial post here, but thought I might as well mention it:
Recently, I've been visiting every Weapon & Armor page, primarily to check on Enhancement Items. With a couple of exceptions, each and every 2 and 3 Star Enhancement Item for everything is now listed, and furthermore, all of that info has been transfered to the 'Enhancing' section on each individual Item page (2x for 2 Star Enhancement of... etc). Short of these 2 (and a bit) pages listed below, all of that is complete. Exceptions are:
- Red Eyeglasses - Stats are practically non-existant.
- Aneled Bardiches - Stats are practically non-existant. DONE.

Just to be striaght about it Xboxone sucks, its reveal event was so bad I wanted to kill myself for sitting through it! everything from the Kinect2.0 being always active and the mandatory installation to the NFL team system and the crappy audio commands, that puts me, and all gamers on my side, on a split road, both of which abandoning Microsoft and their Xbox.
Either switch to PS3 and climb that bandwagon, seeing the PlayStation will be offering better hardware and actual GAMES for their GAMING console, or go back to Personal Computers and use that as the next gaming medium. I personally decided to do both! It wasn't too hard to save up for a gaming PC neither was it hard to find a good deal on a PS3 on local listings :p

The Arisen plunged through the blackness of the night daggers in hand, the forest was misted and his companions rushed heedlessly after him to no avail. This Arisen kept no lantern, despite the constant whine of his mage pawn otherwise; this Arisen ran through the black of night in search of prey and when he found it he would kill it and run off again. Dragon's Dogma and Anime.
At this point of the game I think I'm done, after 212 hours and 8 minutes of entertainment this game is starting to dry out to me, I've yet to try all the classes but I'm only behind on Mystic Knight, Assassin, and Ranger.
Overall this game has been a phenomenal experience that I would recommend to any hardcore gamer out there without hesitation, now I see myself on NG+7 with a solid pawn and titanium solid Arisen I find little reason to go on playing this game.

I have finally reached the point where I'm self-sufficient and can survive the entire game/world of Gransys and the majority of Bitterblack Isle, have encountered pretty much every enemy and been to every area in the game, last one being The Abbey and why is Mason there? hmmmm very shady!
Nonetheless Nella, my Arisen, is now standing on two feets with the Maiden's Set and standing tall! no need for super ugly defense armor and no need for super over-weight Harspud very capable level 176 party indeed! finally!

Rockin' BitterBlack
I don't know how fast many of you guys can run through Bitterblack, but i just go through the second gate, and fight through the last third of the dungeon. I usually earn around 50,000 rift crystals, and it only takes about 45 min to an hour. I'm going to need to start running through the entire island in order to rack up some lost RC.

Head scratching over Love Interests
So I thought I understood the intricacies of the Love Interest system and how to manipulate it, but on taking out Grigori yesterday, the person I was paired up with has left me somewhat baffled...
Everything went to plan (In the end) in my first play-through: Wanted Reynard, maxed out his affinity, then ended up unintentionally maxing out Madeleine's too on completion of the 'Bad Business' Quest, thus removing her from the game, whilst replacing Reynard in the position of 'Love Interest-to-be'. Couldn't lower her affinity, so instead I lowered Reynard's until he lost his 'pink glow', and then just before going into the Greatwall, I gave him the Arisen's Bond to max him out again, thus resetting him as 'Love Interest-to-be'. Dark Arisen and Death encounters.
- It should be said up front, Death* is an a**hole, it's extremely unnecessary to have him one-shot your characters into the rift, even though I see the developer's approach trying to add more difficulty hoping to attract some Dark Souls community players but with the Pawn Combat AI Death is an extreme disadvantage to players and their parties.
- It's not that he's difficult to conquer by any means, he's actually quite dumb, he -or is it a she? hmmmm- repeats the exact same actions over and over and over again, he has, or at least shows to have, five animations only! that's embarrassing! one animation to move, one animation to attack with the scythe, one animation teleport, an animation to use the lantern attack and the final being his death …

Help! Item glicth
I need some help!
Everytime I buy an item from a store it somehow doesn't appear on my items section and somehow it gets moved to the item storage.Also none of my pawns have the item I have purchased.The items that don't appear are stuff like carrots,apples,ferrystones etc. If it is a weapon or armor it does appear.I also see that I haven't cancel my purchase because right after I buy the item I see that I wasted money on it.And instead of appearing on my items section it somehow gets moved to the item storage.And I sell them,I buy them and still nothing appears.What I should do ? Is this a glitch or something ? Please help me :(
This is going out of control.
- As more and more time passes by I find myself more and more addicted to this game and this specific website in particular, I can't stop thinking about it, about updating all the junk pages and about adding more specific and useful content.
- I do however fear of over-playing DD and eventually getting bored of it ahead of time hence I got started on Demon's Souls so I won't be participating as often until I finish that game, on the other hand the next two weeks are going to be my college finals weeks, during which I will have to take about five exams, hopefully only five, and past that I'll have plenty of time to participate here full time before summer school.

id like the options avalible but i wish there were more that benifited each play style, or more specific ones like "avoid close combat", "keep agro" things like that most of the inclinations are already good but maybe they could break the existing ones up into smaller ones for dd2 and we can beter create how are pawns fight but also more than two maybe 4 or 5. because i like the utilitarian but i dont like how often my pawns waste time grabbing when they should be attacking instead of waiting on someone to deliver the finishing blow.
Farming Ur-Dragon and NG+
So I've defeated Savan and proclaimed my character as the new Senchal and so on but I tried my best not of overlook any quests in the first run which, unfortunately, didnt work out and now I'm left with plenty a questions.
- What's up with the witch in the witchwood? I only went there to get the ale quest and I can tell there's a TON more lore and story to the poor girl than that one line of dialogue I got from her.
- Was the Dragonforged a previous Arisen?
- Now that my character is the Senchal and Savan defeated shouldn't Savan be the DragonForged until his release in NG++?
- Why was there no explanation for the area northwest with the mountains houses and the bandits?

The Craziest Fight
I thought nothing would top my last time through: 4 Garms, many Harpies, at least 2 Eliminators, and two Prisoner Gorecyclopes in the same room. It was pure insanity. But just now I enter the room of a Drake (UberDrake, they should be called in DA), and saw a bunch of the red Phantasms and what I THOUGHT was a Lich, but turned out to be DEATH. The moment I realized it was Death he 1-shot my pawns, about a half second later a Phantasm (or whatever) latched onto my head and as I started to wonder how you remove them when you're alone the Drake stomped me to deadness. Death should not be so cooperative.

Finished dark arisen not long enough, will go back for some more monsters and gear 20 pounds for what is really an add on. Expected more but still enjoyed it,better value than going to cinema and have the game for life. Hardest part for me was death that was good .

Getting started until now
So now that I'm at the very end of the game I've used this wiki a LOT to help me find levers, characters, items as well as weapons. My main Character "Chaos" has now collected all 20 wakestones and is ready to defeat the last boss, which I do not know who it is, I'm presuming, from the indiciations of the game itself, that it will be the character we play in the demo, can't really recall his name.
Not really a big fan of my own pawn, Chris, I find it easier to go around the world solo espicially with that one assasin perk that provides additional damage if venturing alone. Besides Chris will not SHUT UP about the god damned Harpies, I've had enough man.

I thought of a way they could do multiplayer
ok so you know how you can enter the rift? well what if there were dungeons in the rift then if they did matchmaking that would make it easy to join up with players around your level and have a balanced team, and they could have preset unique dungeons, random generated dungeons or both, while having appropriate enemy types, and possibly scale them up or down depending on the team

Hey there, Wikians! As many of you are aware, Capcom will be releasing Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, a re-release of the original Dragon's Dogma. There is plenty of new material added with this release, with a slew of new enemies, quests, locations, customizations, weapons and armor.
On April 25th, from 1-5 PM PST, several members of Wikia's Community Development Team will be focusing on adding content from Dark Arisen to the wiki.

It Never Rains... Or Pours!
I don't expect DD:DA to have rain effects in it but it's something I wanna see in DD2. It may sound like a stupid thing to wanna see but there ya go. Imagine if you're out on a run and then it starts pouring down. You don't find shelter you get drenched unless you got something waterproof on. I just think some more varied weather conditions other than sunny or dreary would enhance the look and feel of the game. Other things I have a bizarre desire to see in DD2:
Mountainous areas with snow where your characters need to be wrapped up or they get cold and have reduced abilities or HP. The ability to crouch or lie down to sneak around and hide. Being able to sneak up behind enemies and take them out silently (for all classes). More unarmed com…

does this make any sense in the story of dragons dogma?
so dragonforged is the eldest arisen and the theres sofiah and duke and sofiah i would guess killed the dragon and duke choose to become ruler of the land, but what doesnt make sense is if sofiah did kill the dragon and if she is after the duke the DF should be dead and duke should be old one way or another DF should be dead so it doesnt make sense to me that sofiah killed the dragon unless there are multiple dragons. if there are multiple dragons thats the only reasonable explantion why DF atleast is alive unless she was also after duke which i believe she was arisen before. but if you lose to savan you become a dragon but that one dragon hunts the arisen so that would mean the same dragon who has DF heart has dukes and yours but what abo…

I have noticed alot of disagreement on how best to effect an NPC's affinity, so I took the liberty to shift through all the comments, and do a little testing on affinity. It seems that affinity is based on a basic level or value, to a set amount. When raised to max affinity, the NPC is listed to the Arisen's current Love Interest. This registers the NPC then to appear in the next one of two cutscenes, either the Dragon's hostage, or at the beach when you fall from the sky.
As soon as another NPC is raised to max affinity, it effectively replaces the previous LI. This means if Aelinore has max affinity, and you finish Selene's questlines and raise her affinity to the maximum value,…
Possible Free Transportation
Is it possible to get in trouble with a guard somewhere far off and be sent to the dungeon? I think paying $5,000 would be cheaper than buying a ferrystone. Unless of course people have figured out how to farm them, and if so, what's your secret.
3 Star Bestiary Knowledge
My Pawn finally got her first 3 Star the other day HOOOORRAAAAHHHHH! Just had to let that out haha. It may only have been for Bandits, but for so long I've been trying to get one of these, so to see that third Star pop up made my day!
So getting that third Star for Bestiary seems to be pretty damn tricky to get; I didn't get any in my first playthrough and it must be around 80 hours into my current one before getting this first one (although I've seen much lower level Pawns than mine with multiple 3 Stars, so perhaps I'm just incompetent xD). What sort of makes it worse is how easy it seems 2 Stars is to get; every enemy regularly encountered (pre-Griffin's Bane) I have 2 Stars for.
