The quest The End at the Beginning is the equivilant of a tutorial quest. Throughout the beginning of the game you will get pop-up messages that will explain what something is or how to use it. Also in NG + you will still get tutorial messages, the only difference is that you skip the End at the Beginning tutorial/prologue quest. The main parts of the Tutorial comprise of the first 3 quests.
