Dowsing Spikes is a DLC weapon available in Dragon's Dogma.
Description[]
- "Daggers with hilts meant to recall snakes on the hunt. They emit a glow whenever treasure is near."
These daggers will 'chime' when the wielder nears a chest, and glow with increased brightness as they draw closer to it

- In Dragon's Dogma must be purchased as a part of Weapon Pack: The Debilitator DLC. Received for free, and can then be purchased at The Black Cat.
- In Dark Arisen included in the base game, but must be purchased from The Black Cat.

- Mined from ore deposits around Gransys.
- Priceless Artifact
- Mined from ore deposits in The Watergod's Altar.
- Can be obtained by purifying Bitterblack Novelty Lv.2.
- Rubicite
- Can be mined from ore deposits in various Bitterblack Isle locations, including Bitterblack Isle Harbor, The Black Abbey, Tower of Treasons Repaid, Rotwood Depository, The Forgotten Hall, The Fallen City.
- Septiscopic Crystal
- Dropped by a Maneater.
Notes[]
- The quillon (guard) of the dagger appears to have compass directions (N,NE,E,SE etc) marked on in the Gransys Alphabet. These may not be clearly visible in-game but are shown in the Dragon's Dogma: Official Design Works (p.229)
- In Dark Arisen, this weapon can be gifted to another Pawn.
- Will not help to find Maneater as they glow near trap chests just the same.
- Doesn't glow for opened (but not looted) chests.
- There is also a controller rumble when the dagger's effect activates.
- Both glow and rumble will work when pawn equipped by these daggers.
