Extermination is a quest available in Dragon's Dogma.

"Every year, more and more animals fall victim to monsters assaults. These unfortunate, injured beasts go wild in their pain, attacking indiscriminately. Won't you do the right thing and put these poor souls out of their misery?"

WalkthroughEdit

Snakes

• The best place to find snakes is Gran Soren: First Level Underground. This is the lowest area of The Duke's Demesne and can only be accessed when the player finishes at least two Wyrm Hunt quests from Ser Maximilian and accepts the quest Come to Court. Note that, in taking this quest, any remaining Wyrm Hunt quests become forfeit and you will not be able to complete them. There are 3 snakes just south of the dungeon entrance into the sewers here. If you leave through the sewers exit and re-enter, the snakes (and rats) will instantly respawn.

Another convenient place to find 4-5 snakes is inside Dripstone Cave. To make it easier, enter at the well in Cassardis to start at the caven's southern end.

Giant Bats

• Dripstone Cave is also a good place to find bats. From the Cassardis well entrance, follow the main path north and several bats will drop from the ceiling along the way. However, any Caves/Quarry within Gransys are the best place to find bats. Start from Dripstone Cave, Ancient Quarry, The Catacombs and Soulflayer Canyon.
