Asalam is an NPC in Dragon's Dogma.
Description[]
Asalam is the Innkeeper of the Union Inn in Gran Soren. He offers a little insight on developments in the game from time to time whilst providing the general inn services.
He is a permanent fixture at his Inn, until its destruction after which he continues what remains of his business from the Pawn Guild.

Aslams provides most Character Services :
- Sleeping (costs 500 Gold).
- Manage Item Storage (Deposit, Withdraw and Combine).
- Learn or Set skills.
- Change Vocation.

Notes[]
- If he dies (i.e. during his escort quest), you'll be unable to use his services for one week until he re-appears.
- In Dragon's Dogma using the inn frequently increased Affinity with Asalam, causing him to often become an unintended Beloved. (This effect has been reduced in Dark Arisen)
- He and Ecbal come from the same land.
