This is the most powerful non-enchanted Mace. The strongest sword, Devilsbane, is lighter but less powerful.

- Can be mined from Ore Deposits in various Gransys locations, including at the Barta Crags, Catacombs and Pastona Cavern.
Cursed Carving
- May be found in the Wilted Forest in the following locations:
  - Outside The Abbey's western wall in the middle of a Loneflower circle.
  - Atop a tall rock near to where the Chimera is found.
  - Within the two chests between The Abbey and Prayer Falls.
Sorcerer's Quartz
- Dropped by a Gazer.

Daimon's Horn
- Dropped by Daimon.

Trivia[]

The name of this weapon,"Virge of Madness" , is a rather intelligent play on words. A Virge was a rod used to beat someone as form of Corporal punishment. This weapon, being a mace, is also a blunt instrument used to beat enemies with.

Its item description may also play into this.
