Fire Affinity is a fire based skill available in Dragon's Dogma.
Description[]
- "An advanced form of Fire Boon that augments the enchantment's duration as well as the recipient's Magick."
An advanced version of Fire Boon. With Dark Arisen it becomes Fire Pact with the relevant Staff Enchanter's Ring or Staff Enchanter's Band equipped.
Notes[]
- For general details of weapon enchantment spells, see Weapon enchantment.
- Damage from fire attacks and chance to ignite increase when Tarred.
- Click the left analog stick [L3] to cast this spell on the Arisen.
- Like all Affinities, this skill changes the Staff's and Archistaff's projectile properties when using Magick Agent, the light attack and Focused Bolt.
- Generally considered to be the second most useful Enchantment, after Holy. Particularly useful early in the game, as many common foes are weak to it - namely Wolves and Direwolves, Harpies and Snow Harpies, all types of Undead, Griffins, as well as Bandit Fighters and Warriors, and Sulfur Saurians. (See also List of Creature Defenses and Resistances)
- Additionally the burning effect from fire panics Goblins and Hobgoblins; incapacitates Saurians; and prevents all Griffin, Cockatrice, and Harpy species from flying.
