Flame Riposte is a Fire based skill available in Dragon's Dogma.

An advanced version of Firecounter.
After a relatively brief incantation, enchants the magick shield with the fire element. While the enchantment is active, regular blocks deal a moderate amount of fire damage in a small area in front of the knight. Perfect Blocking conjures multiple balls of fire to strike the foe whose attack the knight blocked, not unlike the High Ingle spell.
Firecounter and Flame Riposte are not only an excellent abilities due to the relative frequency of fire-averse enemies, especially in the early game, the fireballs from a perfect block travel a fair distance, allowing the Mystic Knight to block and punish distant attacks like arrows and spit attacks.
This, like the other elemental counter abilities, is complimented significantly by the Prescience Augment.
The enchantment lasts for 120s.
