Gold Idol Forgery is an item available in Dragon's Dogma.
Description
- "A figurine required to do business with a talented artisan. This one is crafted of fine gold. A forgery."
A Gold Idol Forgery is obtained by making a forgery of a real Gold Idol, or by duplicating another Gold Idol Forgery - both can be done at The Black Cat.
One can also be found in Fournival Manor - located on a rafter in the upper dining room of the manor - it is out of reach, though stacking Barrels can be used to obtain it.
This forgery gives the same 30% discount at shops as the real Gold Idol - but when used to complete the quests Idol Worship or Supplier's Demand, the forgery will not expand the offered inventory of the given vendor as a real idol would. Idol forgeries are favored as gifts by Fournival.

- If the quest Escort Duty is completed and a Gold Idol obtained from Symone then the Fournival Manor forgery will disappear.
