Harbinger of Destruction is a quest available in Dragon's Dogma. It is the first quest to the Arisen, once the player is done with the Character Customization process.

ObjectiveEdit

• "Without warning, a dragon sets upon the peaceful fishing village of Cassardis. Someone must face the wyrm to spare the villagers."

DetailsEdit

The Dragon reappears in the vicinity of the coastal town of Cassardis, and several villagers take up arms to protect the people. One of them will be marked by the Dragon as the new Arisen, before the wyrm takes flight to other horizons.

Upon activation:

• Marshall your courage and face the dragon, lest your entire village perish.

Upon completion:

• You faced the dragon and saved the village.

WalkthroughEdit

The quest simply requires attempting some combat moves against the Dragon. This fight is interrupted by the next cutscene, which takes place either if the Arisen suffers too much damage or if you manage to survive a certain amount of time.
