Grand Brontide 28/s 2
  • Unlike other spells, Brontide's caster can walk at a normal pace when using this skill.
  • Use [Jump] to terminate the spell early.
  • Press the [Light] and [Heavy] with the spell active to perform horizontal and vertical attacks with the magick whip.
    • Higher tier spells conjure lightning strikes in addition to the whip with each strike; Brontide does not.
    • The [Light] and [Heavy] strikes have the same power, but strike in different ways: [Light] is a wider arc, whilst [Heavy] in a narrow front arc from overhead.
  • This skill can easily Stagger enemies and is best used against large creatures that can be hit multiple times per strike such as Gorechimera, Elder Ogre or Drake.
  • Grand Brontide additionally strikes 2 bolts around caster every ~1.4 seconds. These bolts hit randomly and can destroy environment, including explosive barrels (potentially knocking caster down and terminating spell prematurely).
  • An equipped Archistaff's debilitation (from Rusted Weapons, Aneled Weapons, and Golden Weapons) applies to whip's strikes as well as bolts on release and periodic ones from Grand Brontide.
  • The lightning bolts from Brontide are as powerful as those from Levin. With the higher tier spells the bolts are similar in power to High Levin, but a little less so.
  • Requires high Stamina for extensive pawn use.
    • Contrary to the description, High Brontide does not last longer; it uses more stamina, but has additional effects.
  • The heavy attack will release Ore deposits, but not the light attack
  • (BUG) Pawns will not cast Brontide at all if a ring with Grand Brontide is equipped.
