Hybrid vocations are the last tier of the nine vocations in Dragon's Dogma. Hybrid vocations combine aspects of two of the three Basic vocations. Only your main character, the Arisen, is able to become a Hybrid vocation.

There are three Hybrid vocations available:

• Mystic Knight - The Mystic Knight combines aspects of the Fighter and Mage, and is the only class that can use magick shields.

• Magick Archer - The Magick Archer combines aspects of the Strider and Mage, and is the only class that can use magick bows.

• Assassin - The Assassin combines aspects of the Strider and Fighter. This class has no unique weapons, but has the largest variety of other weapons.
