Material Witness is the name of multiple escort quests. Each gives a reward of 5,000 Gold, and 3,000 Exp., plus an additional gift.

- Escort Benita to Cape Pactforge for a reward of Kept Grandgrapes x 3. The quest becomes available at Pablos' Inn.
- Escort Barnaby to Bloodwater Beach for a reward of a Sight Earring. The quest becomes available at the Union Inn after the quest Lure of the Abyss. The opportunity passes after Trial and Tribulations.
- Escort Pering to the Prayer Falls for a reward of Cerulean Concoction x5. The quest becomes available at the Union Inn.
Material Witness (Barnaby escort quest walkthrough)
Travel ahead to Bloodwater Beach (without Barnaby), deploy a Portcrystal, Ferrystone back to Gran Soren, accept the quest from the notice board, then Ferrystone back to Bloodwater Beach with Barbaby in complete safety.
