Periphery is an augment available in Dragon's Dogma.
Description
- "Helps keep your footing when you block attacks with your shield."
Periphery increases stagger resistance when blocking with shields - with the augment equipped an attack that might have staggered a shield block may be successfully blocked.
Notes
- Increases Stagger Resistance by 50 when using a shield.(verify)
- The increase in resistance is not shown in the stats.
- Useful with shields with weak blocking ability such as the Rusted Magick Shield, and against enemies with powerful attacks.
- Also works on fighter shields, eg the Rusted Shield is noticeably improved.
