• If you instead choose to give Steffen a forgery of the Grimoire from The Black Cat, his part of the griffin quest will fail and he will remark about how he cannot trust you after that. You will be on your own to fight the griffin, but with an arguably powerful spell book to use when you see fit.
• Steffen's Escort Quest, Company for the Road (Miasmic Haunt), rewards the player with the Snags of Gold daggers.
