The Absent Apprentice is a quest available in Dragon's Dogma.
Overview
- "Seems like youth of today have no desire for the life of a weapons merchant. In a perfect world, I'd have an apprentice to run my errands, and in truth, I've had more than a few. Sadly, their skill at metalwork rarely transfers to skill at staying alive in the field."
The Absent Apprentice is the name of two different quests - both require the killing of a number of harmless fauna.
Quests
- Slay 45 Rabbits for a total reward of 60,000 Gold and 3000 Exp.- this quest becomes available on the Pawn Guild notice board after first entering Gran Soren.
Notes
- Pawns will not attack either of these creatures, and so Arisen without a ranged attack may find it difficult to catch and kill the crows.
The Absent Apprentice (Crow quest walkthrough)
There are 11 Crows in The Abbey vicinity at any given time which immediately re-spawn whenever the Arisen enters and exits the nearby Rift Stone, as demonstrated in this video.
